Stephen Martin is in high demand as an arranger, and has written numerous arrangements for percussion ensemble and steel pan ensemble. His arrangements have been performed at concert venues throughout the U.S. including the Percussive Arts Society International Convention, Bands of America National Concert Band Festival, the Lionel Hampton International Jazz Festival, Jazz Port Townsend, the Ford Detroit Jazz Festival, and the Notre Dame Collegiate Jazz Festival.

Some of his clients include the Robert Hohner Percussion Ensemble, the Legacy Percussion Orchestra, the University of Texas Percussion Ensemble, the Alma College Percussion Ensemble, the Albany State University Percussion Ensemble, the Percussion Works Project, Strike Percussion Ensemble, and the Petoskey Steel Drum Band.

Other collaborations include a percussion orchestration of Eric Whitacre's "What If," which is featured on the grammy-nominated album, A Company of Voices: Conspirare in Concert.
